I enjoyed hearing about the culture in Nepal. I especially liked when Christina told about her experience as a little girl – the smells outside told what season it was. The special dinner was amazing! I was so full! I liked hearing about the different spices and how to use them. The lunch was great!

This tour was such a unique, robust, and rich experience that helped me better understand cultures in our other parts of the world with authentic ambassadors from there that call our region home. Learning about spices, their uses, cultures, family stories from chefs, and connecting with others in our region at a community meal.

I enjoyed the introduction to the area and the explanation of the various foods that come from the distinct regions. I also enjoyed finding similarities between cultures. The opportunity to learn about the food from Nepal. Completely unfamiliar to me. Also loved the “dive” into the spices.
